Stress doesn’t have to define you, and you don’t have to live in survival mode. I created Rooted In Calm to provide women with a space to reset, heal, and cultivate rituals that bring lasting peace, balance, and energy back into their lives.

 

I’m Destinee Parker — a nutritionist, herbalist, 200-hour yoga teacher, CBT-trained specialist, meditation teacher, and wellness advocate with a background in psychology. Through my own journey, I’ve experienced the weight gain, emotional eating, headaches, high blood pressure, and sleepless nights that chronic stress can cause. I know what it feels like to push through burnout and wonder why nothing seems to work — and I also know that true healing begins when we address stress at the root.

 

Every week on Rooted In Calm, I share integrative, science-backed tools that combine nutrition, yoga, meditation, and mindset work to help you:

 

  • Calm your nervous system and step out of fight-or-flight.

  • Nourish your body with foods that support resilience.

My mission is simple: to empower women to stop normalizing stress as part of their identity and instead learn to regulate their nervous systems, reclaim their health, and thrive with resilience.
